Dean of the School of Nursing

The dean of the Indiana University School of Nursing oversees undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing programs in Indianapolis, Bloomington, Fort Wayne, and a future fourth location. In collaboration with 185 faculty and over 80 staff members, the dean drives positive educational outcomes for approximately 2,000 students. In addition to setting the strategic direction for the school, responsibilities include oversight of a $31M budget, fundraising, promoting student success, and stimulating research and discovery. The dean will also benefit from a recent doubling of teaching space for experiential learning, which allows for a 50 percent increase in beginning nursing students.
