Vice President for Capital Planning and Facilities

The vice president for capital planning and facilities ensures that all capital projects, space, facilities initiatives, and real estate strategies across the university’s seven campuses, two regional centers, and nine medical education centers align with IU’s long-term mission and vision, especially as outlined in the university’s strategic plan. Reporting to the chief operating officer, this vice president leads various units, including architects, facility operations, capital projects, energy management and utilities, engineering services, interior design, landscape architecture, real estate, space planning, and sustainability.
